In 1958, Write Impressions Resume Service started as one office in Washington, D.C., operating under the name "Professional Resume Writing Service." Over the following three decades, Professional Resume Writing Service grew to over 300 offices throughout the US.
The owner of what was a privately owned enterprise at that time decided to retire and offered to sell individual offices and groups of offices to the regional, district, area, and individual managers in the company at that time.
The previous owners of the Write Impression Resume Service (not the Virginia Beach office) were district managers of 16 offices of the Beltway Market and opted to purchase the four offices in South Hampton Roads (Little Creek, Lynnhaven, College Park, Pembroke).
The current owner purchased these four offices in early 1994, then subsequently consolidated them to the Pembroke Office Park (in Town Center). In 2007, the office was moved to its new storefront location on Cleveland St.
